1. What This Website Is
York County Criminal History is an independent reference. It does not hold official records, conduct official background checks, or submit documents. It directs readers to York County offices, South Carolina courts, SLED CATCH, and the South Carolina Sex Offender Registry, along with outside research tools.

Use must remain lawful and must not interfere with the service or another person. A user agrees not to:

Information found here or through a linked service must not be used to intimidate, harass, stalk, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Registry data exists for public awareness, not vigilantism. S.C. Code ยง23-3-510 can increase punishment when disclosed South Carolina Sex Offender Registry information is used to commit a crime.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
No content or linked search result is a consumer report. It may not be used to decide credit, employment, housing, insurance, licensing, eligibility for a benefit, or another matter regulated by the FCRA.
